Labor contractor training was conducted in 2021 by meeting with 14 laborers in Akhisar, Sindirgi, Gördes, Kale, Tavas and Esme in the Aegean Region.
One of the important stakeholders in granting workers’ rights and preventing child labor is the agricultural intermediary (labor contractor). Labor contractors are generally people who are hierarchically higher up among workers and have a certain power. Labor contractors were also included in the education planning and labor contractor trainings were organized.
During the training, the knowledge level of agricultural intermediaries was increased on income, working hours and child labour.
